Welcome to the Griffin family! We are incredibly excited to welcome all of our new and transferring students to the Academy at Palumbo High School for the upcoming school year.
To help you transition smoothly, get acclimated to our campus, and start building that signature Griffin Pride (Nothing Less Than Success!), we are hosting our official Orientation. Here is everything you need to know to get ready.

Time: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Who: All incoming new and transfer students (Please note: This in-person event is for students only!)
📝 Register by August 7, 2026
To ensure we have space and materials ready for everyone, all attending students must register in advance.

🎒 Prepare for Day One: Summer Reading & Supplies
Don’t wait until the first day of school to get organized! Use the QR codes on the flyer to access your essential preparation materials:
Summer Reading List: Scan the black post-it QR code labeled “SUMMER READING” to see your required summer texts.
Supply List: Scan the lined paper QR code labeled “Supply List” to view exactly what you need to bring to class.
📐 Algebra Placement Exam
Will you be taking Algebra this year? An Algebra Placement Exam will be administered immediately after the orientation session (starting at 12:30 PM) for eligible students only.
Check Your Eligibility: Scan the “SEE IF YOU QUALIFY FOR ALGEBRA PLACEMENT EXAM” QR code at the bottom center of the flyer to see if you need to stay after orientation to take this exam.

While the main orientation event is reserved for students, we haven’t forgotten about our Griffin families! We have dedicated resources and information to help parents and guardians support their students.
