Councilmember at Large Kendra Brooks Visits Palumbo
On February 7, Philadelphia City Councilmember at Large Kendra Brooks visited 3 Social Science classes at Palumbo. She heard from the students about their hopes for the future of Philadelphia, and shared her insights about public service, running for office, and the role of political parties.
Junior Franko Kika on CBS; playing bass for Kevin Bacon
Franko (in addition to waking up early on a Saturday to help out the robotics team) was interviewed on CBS News last Friday. He played bass on a track with Kevin Bacon along with the Rock to the Future after school program. Check out the clip here
