Palumbo qualifies for the PIAA State Championship Meet!

• Adley won the Javelin
• Aejana won the Discus and actually threw the state standard! She was 2nd in the shot put and will compete in both events next weekend (the real test will be getting up to Shippensburg and back after before and after prom)
• Penny placed 2nd in the the 100 hurdles and in the 300 hurdles.
• Jayden Ohalloran placed 3rd in the javelin by less than a foot (he needed 1st or 2nd to get to states)

Honorable mentions include:

• 5th – Girls 4×1 (Penny, Jhonel, Najee, and Aniylah) – running a very impressive time and school record
• 4th (by .11 seconds) – Girls 4×4 – (Najee, Patty, Zeinab, and Aniylah) – running a very impressive time and school record
• Ibn – placed 5th in triple jump
• Najee – placed 5th in the 300 hurdles
• Jhonel – placed 6th in the LJ
