Track and Field champs update!

The girls team finished 3rd in the city and the boys tied for 5th (without even having a single runner…all points were earned in the field events)!

Here’s the run down:
Boys discus – Shymir 1st, Jayden (freshman) 5th
Girls discus – Aejana 1st, Norah 3rd, Aniya 5th
Boys Javelin- Gabriel (freshman) 1st, Shymir 2nd, Jayden 6th
Girls Jav- Aejana 4th
Girls shot put- Norah 1st, Aejana 4th
Girls Long Jump -Daianna 4th, Jhonel 6th (freshman)
Girls triple jump- Hawa (Constitutuon) 1st, Saliyah (Constitution) 5th
300Hurdles -Daianna 3rd, Penny 5th, Jalen 8th
4×8 girls -3 freshmen, 1 10th grader -2nd place
100 hurdles -Penny third, Najee 4th
4×1 -Season best
4×4 -4th- Season best

We have 5 city champions!!!!!! And so many other great performances.
